A casual trip to the outlets turned into an unexpected design session. 😂

I found a corner desk at Pottery Barn and immediately started imagining how it could work in one of the spaces I’m currently designing.

And somewhere between testing the desk, moving things around in my head, and thinking out loud, it hit me…

I’m actually designing spaces in the US! 🥹

Something I never imagined doing when I first started my design journey.

This is actually happening 😱

Stay tuned ✨✨✨

Designing a space is not just about having a vision. It’s also about figuring out how to bring it to life! ✨

Sometimes an idea looks great in your head, but making it work in real life requires a little more research, a different approach, or simply asking the right person.

And that’s exactly what happened here!

One thing I’m really enjoying about designing in the US is discovering new systems, materials, and solutions that open up so many possibilities.

Still learning, still exploring, and definitely enjoying the process! ✨

Stay tuned! Design is cooking!!

¿Se puede diseñar un espacio a distancia?

¡Claro que yeees! ✨

Gaby 🫶

No, I’m not just staring at the wall or ceiling…

Where you see an empty space, I see possibilities, design solutions, and about 27 different ways to transform it.

Measuring things, staring at the ceiling, inspecting the floor, walking around… that’s just a designer mentally redesigning and visualizing 🫶🏼

I thought I was just coming here to design spaces 🫠

Turns out, there’s a whole new language to learn! Translating my experience into a new context, from feet and inches to building codes and materials.

It’s exciting, a little scary, and I can’t help but smile when I think about what I’ll be able to bring to future projects in Peru 🇵🇪 (and other countries maybe? 👀😏)

One step at a time. I’ll keep you posted! ✨

One space. Two possibilities.

What if a bunk bed could become two identical beds?

The process of designing a space or a piece of furniture helps us create possibilities we wouldn’t have imagined on our own.

Let’s explore what your kid’s space holds ✨

Leave a comment or DM to start exploring!

3 things to consider when choosing a nursery chair

🧸 01. Easy to rise
Can you get up without using your hands?

🧸 02. Footrest
With or without?

🧸 03. Gliding or rocking?
Which movement feels better for you?

🧸 BONUS: Storage!
Does it have any pockets or a nearby spot to keep essentials?

If you are designing a nursery and are not sure where to start, I’d love to help.

DM me to learn more about us.

A designed room is perfect, but a lived-in room is magical ✨✨✨

We designed this 4-year-old’s dream space back in Peru (2022), balancing clean design with a toddler’s real life.

We are now officially bringing our passion for kids’ interiors to the US! 🇺🇸✈️

Let’s design a functional, beautiful space your little one will actually love to play in.

You don’t need a massive budget to make a blank room feel cozy 🫶🏼✨

Try these 3 simple wall details:
📏 Growth chart vinyl:
A functional focal point that growths with your kid

🖼️ Mini-art prints:
2-3 pieces can instantly elevate a wall

🌟 Wall-stickers:
Add pattern without committing to a wallpaper

Small details, big difference 🧸

Which one would you try first? 👀

And if you have a blank wall you don’t know what to do with, send me a DM!

With love,
Gaby 🫶🏼
