🌳 Exciting news from Vunaiting Ward Agro-Farmers Project! 🌳

Our Partnerships Coordinator - Fenella Sam - recently conducted a Rapid Appraisal using at Vunaiting in Rabaul District to look at the possibility of setting up an with support from the funded .

The Vunaiting Ward Agro-Farmers Project was established in 2009. Since then, community members have planted cocoa, coconuts, kamarere, malas & teak trees on their hilly landscape. There is also a copra drier, cocoa fermentary & workshop that processes timber and makes furniture from the trees planted.

The Project Coordinator - Lui Uravai – explained "Our community is keen to establish an outreach centre using local materials to raise awareness amongst local farmers and provide training resources, planting materials, tools & supplies”.
