LOOK | The College of Arts and Sciences successfully conducted the activities of CAS Days, leading up to the most exciting part the announcement of winners!
This much-awaited moment revealed which groups stood out during the celebration. The awarding ceremony was held on March 4, 2026, as part of the CAS Days festivities. Certificates were also presented to our beloved instructors in recognition of their support and guidance.
The atmosphere was filled with anticipation, joy, and cheers from every group. Group 1 “Adobro” emerged as the Champion, while Group 4 “Bicol Express” secured the Second Place.
Beyond competition, CAS Days highlighted the spirit of camaraderie, teamwork, and friendship among students. Each group’s effort, led by their respected team leaders, reflected dedication and unity.
The College of Arts and Sciences students truly showed their passion, talent, and love for one another making CAS Days not just a contest, but a celebration of community and excellence.

LOOK | The College of Arts and Sciences conducted an exciting On-the-Spot Zumba as part of CAS Days!
This lively event showcased the talent, teamwork, and cooperation of our students. The College of Arts and Sciences proved its strength and unity, with group leaders also competing in a thrilling showdown.
The Zumba brought joy and camaraderie to both students and faculty, filling the atmosphere with energy, fun, and pakikisama. Truly, our CAS students showed their skill, rhythm, and creativity on the dance floor demonstrating that they can shine not only in academics but also in performance and movement.
The College of Arts and Sciences celebrated with happiness, togetherness, and pride, making this CAS Days activity a memorable highlight!

LOOK | The College of Arts and Sciences celebrates CAS Days as part of the 116th Founding Anniversary of WPU, with the theme “Sama-samang 116ting WPU Kong Magiting.”
The College of Arts and Sciences proudly conducted in the Cooking Show Competition "Tagisan ng Galing sa Pagluluto", where each group showcased different Filipino delicacies. This wonderful event highlighted the creativity, teamwork, and culinary talents of our students whether from Social Work or Information Systems.
The competition was judged by four distinguished panelists, including our very own Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and one of our dedicated faculty members. It was also a great honor to have Sir Dominic Liao join the panel, sharing his time and expertise.
We sincerely appreciate your support for our students. Your presence truly made the event more meaningful and memorable!
The College of Arts and Sciences had a joyful and enriching experience in the cooking competition, celebrating not only the flavors of Filipino cuisine but also the spirit of unity and excellence that CAS Days embodies.

LOOK | The College of Arts and Sciences students successfully conducted a seminar earlier today. Information Systems students actively participated, focusing on enhancing their design skills and improving creativity. The session was facilitated by Keith Andrew A. Astuero and Juan Miguel B. Rodriguez, both Project Development Officers I from DICT–Palawan.
Meanwhile, Social Work students—particularly those in their second and third year—attended a seminar titled “Service with Compassion: Customer Skills for Social Work Students.” The activity emphasized the importance of strengthening knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes in social work practice. Students and faculty members engaged actively throughout the session, which aimed to empower participants to become more competent, creative, and confident in showcasing their abilities.
This seminar was designed for the students of the College of Arts and Sciences to further develop their talents and professional growth. It was facilitated by Dr. Tirso P. Segundo, RSW, LPT, MPA, MYSW, PhD, DPA (MGDH-1/MSWD Officer).

LOOK | The College of Arts and Sciences officially opened its much-awaited celebration on February 28, 2026, together with the CAS student organizations, at the CCD Grounds and Covered Court of Western Philippines University.
The students of the College of Arts and Sciences were filled with joy and excitement as they actively participated in various Larong Lahi and E-Games. With the support of officers and team leaders, the event highlighted the sportsmanship of every student and showcased the pride of CAS.

The joy and sportsmanship of the students were evident throughout the activities, as everyone actively participated in various challenges. Team leaders also gave their full support to their players, making the event more engaging and meaningful.
