WL3100/WL3100A Dry Pressure Transducer

WL3100 is a dry/dry differential pressure transducer. The difference between the pressure on the high and low-pressure ports is linearized and converted to a usable 4-20 mA current output and made available as a digital serial SDI-12 output.

The SDI-12 output transmits up to a distance of 60 m (200 ft). The 4-20 mA and SDI-12 outputs can operate simultaneously allowing redundant connection to up to 2 data loggers or RTUs.
WL3100 and WL3100A are mounted in a vented rugged aluminum enclosure.

The WL3100 transducer is available as ‘stand alone’ for connection to HS23 dry bubble units (see flipside) or can be fitted as a component of the HS40 Series II or HS40 Compact bubbler
system.

Two models: WL3100 and WL3100A
The two units share the same base technology and have very similar specs. The WL3100A is an advanced model with a wider temperature range starting at -40 °C and an additional location correction factor to better account for atmospheric pressure influence, especially in particularly elevated or deep sites.

HS23 Dry Bubble Unit

KISTERS’ dry bubble unit HS23 is a standard component of a ‘constant bubble’ type gas purge system. The HS23 provides a constant flow of gas (e.g. dry nitrogen or dried air) through a small diameter conduit (river line) to an opening submerged in the water body (or***ce).

Changes in water level are detected by a dry pressure sensor connected to the HS23 by measuring the pressure head of gas bubbling from the or***ce.

The HS23 is a reliable and maintenance-free method for accurate sensing of water levels. It provides a constant differential pressure (3-5 psi) above the pressure head at the or***ce. This constant differential pressure maintains a constant bubble rate through the gas tube throughout all water level regimes.

The system incorporates a regulator valve for setting the bubble rate. This eliminates the need for sight glass and oil reservoirs. The unit is pre-calibrated at the factory.

IoTa LoRa Sensor Node

In an Internet of Things (IoT) network, a sensor node collects data from one or several sensors. KISTERS IoTa sensor nodes interconnects sensors with data management software by means of adding modern wireless connectivity to digital sensors.

IoTa LoRa are dedicated LoRa low power sensor nodes.

IoTa LoRa sensor nodes are battery-powered and operate autonomously for several years on a single battery charge. They collect data from sensors connected via SDI-12 and counter input. Between readings of the input channels, the integrated low-power microprocessor falls into hibernation. To further reduce power consumption, SDI-12 sensors are powered only to make a reading and then switched off.

The IoTa LoRa can be configured locally using KISTERS HyComm Windows software (free of charge).

Easy installation
IoTa LoRa sensor nodes are equipped with a removable pole mount bracket and mounting holes for wall mount applications. UV-proof cable ties (included) allow for quick installation on vertical poles and horizontal rods. The IoTa sensor node can be installed in portrait or landscape position.

The KISTERS IoTa 2DL 12V sensor node acquires and logs sensor data locally, ensuring no data loss, and transmits it through TLS-protected wireless connectivity using MQTTS for seamless integration with your data-management systems.

The IoTa 2DL 12V integrates easily into existing data-acquisition systems and operates for extended periods from nominal 12 V DC, including solar setups. It supports SDI-12 and counter inputs and reduces power consumption through processor hibernation and on-demand SDI-12 sensor powering.

RainTrak

KISTERS RainTrak is a proven product line offering a fully autonomous and integrated All-In-One Rain Gauging and Reporting Station. The complete package is delivered with all elements needed for easy and fast installation and ready to operate within minutes from deployment on any given site. Data processing
