We’re looking for a detail-oriented Eligibility & Authorization Specialist to handle 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
📌 POSITION DETAILS
Position: 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁

Location: 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 / 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀

💼 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨’𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Confirm coverage, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket requirements
• Identify coverage limitations, exclusions, and potential issues
• Contact insurance payers through phone and online portals
• Determine prior authorization requirements
• Submit authorization requests and supporting clinical documentation
• Monitor authorization status, approvals, denials, and additional requirements
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely processing
• Maintain accurate patient and insurance records
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams
• Handle patient information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
✅ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥
At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification, benefits verification, or prior authorization
• 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱
• Good understanding of insurance benefits and payer requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests accurately
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems, insurance portals, and payer websites
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, and data
• Pivot tables and data analysis experience is an advantage
• Willingness to work on-site in Cagayan de Oro City

• Must have a suitable 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸
• Must be 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 when requested by the company
