Celebrated annually every 8th of March, the International Women’s Day has been a significant event globally.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙖𝙞𝙣,” highlights the idea that achieving real progress in gender equality depends on intentional efforts and contributions from governments, institutions, and individuals.

Let’s make this day a great opportunity to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women while advocating for gender equality. However, we should remember that all of this should matter not just this day, but also in our everyday lives.

In commemoration of the just concluded University Week 2026, a celebration for the Humanities Cluster was prepared by the Clusters Faculty and Council Officers, which was held in the University’s Educational Media Center (EMC) on February 24, 2026.

Certificates were presented to recognize all students that participated and also won in the categories they joined in the week-long event. Afterwards, various foods were served and enjoyed by the students and faculty members, ending the whole program with a simple honoring as a result for each and everyone’s efforts.
