My name is Adonis Acebes, I’m from Camiguin, Philippines and I sign my work under my actual birth name: Adonis Acebes.

I find inspiration in many places, but Dumaguete, which is located in one of the islands of the Philippines, mostly influenced my creative style and process.

There are countless reasons that motivate me to create art. Some of them are making our surroundings more beautiful, creating records of a specific time, place, person or object etc. I also love expressing and communicating ideas. I find art as inspiring and stimulating for the human mind.

I specialize in acrylic and oil painting and I focus on creating portraits and landscapes. I also enjoy working with latex and enamel paint.

My art style is Adonism – True Beauty. I am motivated by God, life, love and my family. I’ve been creating art for over 25 years. My favorite artist is God and I find His work to be Amazing and Perfect!

I connect with the art community by creating art and showing it locally and through the internet and social media. My work can be viewed in person at local churches, restaurants and private residences around the world and houses etc.

I am a full- time artist and I have experience in creating my art for local collectors, but my art has been also appreciated all around the World. My paintings have been sold and shipped to art enthusiasts in the USA, Europe and Asia.
