Dear WiFree Users,

First of all, allow me to thank you for being such a loyal and consistent customer over the months. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we hope we have been successful in providing you with excellent WiFi internet access.

I never like having to write this letter, but it’s unfortunately sometimes necessary. Due to the internet, network infrastructure and overhead increased cost, we are going to be raising our prices on our WiFi hotspot. A new rate of 2 hours and 40 minutes per 1PhP internet access will be issued on December 20, 2020. Here are the list of prices applying the new rate:

1 PhP - 2.4 hours
5 PhP - 12 hours
10 PhP - 1 day

We did everything we could to make our WiFi hotspot affordable to our users (almost free), but it is not possible now due to the fact - our profitability directly depends on overhead cost that better reflects the new realities. This price increase is minimal, and sometimes we must do, in order to continue providing you with the quality you’ve come to expect. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us immediately.

[PLATFORM UPGRADE] NEW CUSTOMER PORTAL

Please be informed that our WiFi signals will be inaccessible October 30, 2020 10PM to October 31, 2020 3AM. This is to implement our NEW CUSTOMER PORTAL with the following features.
- FREE 30 minutes access trial offerings
- Portal direct Chat Support
- Stability and bug fixes

WiFree users will be asked to encode their voucher access again after the platform upgrade window. In addition, our Mobile App will not work after this upgrade. Please keep an eye on our page regarding this.

We want to make you aware that there will be scheduled down time on the following dates.

- October 25
- October 30 to November 1
- November 6 to November 8

We will be using this time to add more capacity to our infrastructure, speed up our overall service and upgrade our platform.

To ensure the stability of our WIFI network service, we will perform this upgrade between 10pm to 3am and 7am to 11am. In addition, the upgrade maintenance will be done per antenna locations.

During this maintenance window, the WIFI signals will be inaccessible and internet services will be paused. WiFree users will be asked to encode their voucher access again after the maintenance window.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. As always, we do strive to improve our wifi coverage with each update, in our efforts to satisfy our users.
