This project reflects that collaboration: design by Orbit Design Studio and Akram Latif, combined with UMCI’s workplace solutions featuring global brands Steelcase and Clestra.

Five days in floodwater — still online, still working.

This isn’t a promo shoot.
It’s one of our own — a UMCI team member, working from home while his house was flooded.
No filter. No staging. Just commitment, resilience, and a very well-used Think chair.

Work doesn’t always happen in perfect spaces. But with the right support, it keeps going.

Yes, we use this table — a lot. Our team works mostly on-site, but we allow flexible work modes when needed — especially on days like this, when it’s raining hard in Manila and a few teammates can’t make it to the office.

That’s when it helps to have a setup that keeps everyone in view and in sync.

The Ocular table helps us stay connected, whether we are all in the room or some are joining from home.
