Kiara, derived from the Italian Chiara, means bright, clear, and shining—a name that perfectly embodies this home. Our design prioritizes a light and airy atmosphere, utilizing elements that maximize natural illumination and airflow. At night, the house transforms into a glowing lantern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that define the facade. Despite being bounded by a village wall, firewall, and utility easement, the front architecture works overtime to deliver on its promise of a bright, airy sanctuary.

When clients want to re-use, we make a way.
Project: Combines traditional with modern pieces to create this Filipino-inspired room.
A bold blue backdrop was chosen to tie together the varying existing pieces. The vintage vanity that serves as a strong traditional anchor, was finished in a natural local wood tone that contrasted well with this particular blue. The partition with a grid pattern and with decorative star-shaped studs, subtly divides the room while still keeping them visually connected. Gray beddings ground the room in neutrality, while mustard-colored soft furnishings, yellow accessories, and a cute flame-colored lamp from keep it fun. ;)
And of course - what is a Filipino-inspired room without capiz?! And yes we used it for both bedroom and dining areas. A real sanctuary from work - breakfast with coffee on this manong-workshop-inspired dining table and the soft tinkling of capiz shells overhead!

A quick peek on our latest project 🫣
Between the bedrooms, we created a cozy little gallery—think soft glow, cushioned benches, and wall hangings that tell the family’s story. It’s a pause point where you slow down, smile, and keep strolling.
And then there’s the den. It’s kind of the home’s chameleon—sometimes a media room, sometimes a display space for the owner’s ever-changing collection, and, when needed, a guest room thanks to the sleeper sofa. The muted tones, layered lighting, and soft furnishings make it feel calm and inviting, perfect for reading, conversation, or just being together.
Pick one word to describe this space: warm, calm, luxe, or inviting? Tell us why!

We decided to create a bit of drama by framing the bed with a proscenium-like arch, that separates the seating area from the four-poster bed by . Flanking the arch are these gorgeous wooden candelabras from . The green ‘Boa’ by .official looks out to a planned rose garden, through a faceted green glass door, inspired by cut gemstone. Complementing the greens is a custom blush pink rug by . The same pink color repeats on the headboard wall with a flower mural from . Oh and let us not forget the amazing armoire-looking doorway by .projects.
Imagine unwinding in this stunning space! What’s your favorite design element in this room? Tell us in the comment section, we love to hear your thoughts about it.

One enters this dreamy bathroom-closet through an antique-looking armoire. This once dated bathroom-closet space, despite ample floor area felt dark and gloomy. To solve this, the first thing we did was to re-open a boarded arched window to let in more natural light. The intention for this renovation work was not to modernize but to highlight the room’s assets. Instead of demolishing and building new cabinets, we chose an Eijffinger wallpaper from to clad the existing closet doors. Smoky mirror panels mimic the wallpaper pattern and help bounce light at the upper portion of the room. Lighted glass droplets by provide the muted sparkle this surreal walk-in-closet deserves.
