Our ship logo carries a story.

Filipinos have always loved smelling good.

But for the longest time, the only perfumes worth buying were the ones we couldn’t afford, imported, western-made, priced like they forgot who they were selling to.

What if that wasn’t the only option? What if for ₱500, you could wear something Filipino, something made with intention, built around memory, and designed to last?
We asked ourselves that question. And instead of waiting for someone else to answer it, we built it.

This is Layag Lokal. Filipino-founded. Filipino-made. For every Filipino who deserves to smell like a memory worth keeping.

This is how it started.

A humble ukay shop: Layag Lokal, built on the thrill of finding pieces with stories, textures, and lives before ours.

But we wanted more than rediscovery. We wanted to create something of our own. Something we could craft from the beginning, shape with our hands, and bring to life over and over again.

And so, Layag Lokal set sail once more… this time toward scents.

Perfume felt like natural evolution. Like clothing, fragrance is something intimate, something you choose, something you carry, something that changes the way you experience your day. A scent can capture a memory, build a moment, and bring you back to a place you can’t explain but deeply feel.
