I love the mix of spontaneity and adventure. With kids, it can be a little tricky. So, I have these on-the-go baskets - 1 for books, 1 for toys, and 1 for crafts. So, if there is an spontaneous call for an adventure, I can just pick one so my kids will have something to do or play with.
