Transforming structural function into a design feature. 🏗️

A staircase is a fundamental structural element, but it is also an opportunity to demonstrate technical expertise. These projects by Alero Design Studio showcase how the thoughtful combination of solid wood, structural steel, and glass can elevate residential construction.

Alero is helmed by alumnus Jesy Cruz. Professor Clauds Claudio, a former classmate is also an interior designer there. These builds showcase the technical precision required for high-end residential projects.

Behind the Glow: Our Design Mentors ✨

Behind every stunning booth stands a guiding hand. The Design Advisers for the most recent DOCE exhibit bridged the gap between creative vision and real-world ex*****on — turning the students' ambitious concepts into well-built, thoughtful spaces.

They mentored, collaborated, and shared their professional insight on materials, proportions, and construction — reminding the students to design with purpose: to create spaces that tell stories, spark emotion, and bring people together.

With their wisdom and guidance, they lit the way for a new generation of designers — leaving the students ready to shine bright beyond these walls. Because at PSID, we believe that real-world experience is everything. As the only interior design school that consistently mounts this exhibit, we know it takes a village — and we wouldn't have it any other way. 🌟

🏛️ History is the best design teacher.

Understanding culture and historical design gives interior designers a rich visual vocabulary — and what better way to experience it than through the heritage-rich streets of Pampanga?

A huge thank you to PSIDAA (Philippine School of Interior Design Alumni Association) for organizing this incredible field trip for alumni, students, and staff!
Every stop was a page of history brought to life: ⛪ Betis Church & Saint Bacolor Church — breathtaking testaments to Filipino colonial architecture, JB Woodcraft — world-class Filipino craftsmanship in every detail Pamintuan Mansion — a stunning Bahay na Bato where Filipino and European influences meet , Kapampangan Studies Museum — a deep dive into the culture that shaped a region, Deco Central, Clark — a premier furniture and lifestyle showroom featuring JB Woodcraft, Triboa Bay, Philiana Design, and Prizmic & Brill

Design isn't just about aesthetics — it's about understanding where we come from. 🇵🇭
