In 2022, this wasn’t furniture.
It was just a rare, magnificent slab of redwood — 102 inches long, nearly 49 inches wide, and more than 3 inches thick. Untouched. Unrushed. Full of potential, but not yet worthy of becoming ours.

Most would have cut it. Shaped it. Sold it.
We chose patience.

For 4 years, we let it breathe.
Air-dried it slowly… naturally… respectfully.
Through changing seasons, shifting temperatures, and time itself — because true character in wood is not created, it is revealed.

Every inch you see today — the final 99" length, the refined 48" width — is not just measured in dimensions, but in discipline. In restraint. In obsession.
