Lt Gen (R) Ashfaq Nadeem left this world today. He was the prime mover of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, former DG Military Operations, former Chief of General Staff Committee, and a very active competitor for the post of Army Chief.
Lt Gen (R) Ashfaq Nadeem successfully planned Operation Zarb-e-Azb throughout Pakistan. He was famous for his extraordinary military operation skills.
Lt Gen (R) Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmed was course mate of current Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa from 62 PMA Long Course.
