Started with Shayan as Keeper,Moneeb and Waleed Niazi at Defence while Didu and Daniyal led the attack.Daniyal scored a brilliant hatrick as the boys progressed with a convincing win

Difc 3-2 X-Men Fc(Round of 16)
Started with the same line-up with Sharjeel as keeper and Shayan moved forward.Shayan scored twice only for the opponents to peg us back with a very controversial penalty.Didu scored the winner in the dying seconds to send us into the quarters

Match-3(Quarter-Final)
Difc 0-0 Gunners Fc (Won 2-0 on penalties)
Same line-up with Hashim being the only change.A brilliant rear-guard performance by both sides saw the match go on penalties as Didu and Daniyal scored theirs and Shayan saved one to book our spot in the Semis

Match-4(Semi-Final)
Difc 4-1 GC United
Perhaps one of our finest performances as we annihilated the tournament favourites with a stunning performance.Moneeb's quick thinking resulted in them scoring an own-goal to give us the lead after a cagey first half.Waleed Niazi then turned home a kick-in.The lead was cut to 1 but Didu scored an outrageous Bicycle(Yes on a basketball court).Didu then scored on another assist by Moneeb to seal a wonderful victory.

Match-5(Final)
Difc 4-4 Alligators Fc(Lost 2-1 on penalties)
A sad end to a remarkable run as our luck ran out in the shoot-out.Sharjeel started as Keeper,Shayan and Niazi were at defence whereas Didu and Daniyal led the attack.The opponents drew first blood as two consecutive errors left their striker with an open goal.The boys tried to attack but were left short at defence again as they doubled their lead.Just when it seemed that the final was decided,We rallied terrifically as first Shayan and then Daniyal scored twice in a matter of 5 minutes to turn the final on its head.Again we conceded a very avoidable goal but Daniyal restored our lead.We tried to defend the advantage but conceded the equaliser with the last kick of the game.
With the exception on Daniyal,everyone missed their penalty as we lost out in heart-breaking fashion :/
Shout-out to Everyone as each of us gave our 100% and contributed their maximum.IA glory will come :)

Difc 7-3 Tornadoes Fc
The boys opened their summer season with a very convincing win against a relatively good opposition.Due to the absence of a goalkeeper,Shayan started in goal.Hashim,Talha and Waleed Niazi started in defence with Moneeb,Musa and Daniyal completing the line-up.In the ensuing sand-storm,the boys managed to take a lead early on as good build up lead to Musa squaring the ball to Moneeb who finished well.A keeper then arrived and Shayan moved into midfield.The second goal was a spectacular volley by Musa which found the top corner from outside the box.The opposition managed to pull one back with a stunning goal.We ramped up the pressure and as result,Moneebs cross lead to an own goal by them.Further goals by Shayan and Moneeb gave us a comfortable lead of 5-1.Shayan then managed to pull off a rabona which looped over the keeper and in the far corner(tukka :p) Hashim got an assist as well as the match finished 7-3
Daniyal was at his best with some brilliant through balls with Moneeb,Musa and Shayan gobbling up the chances that came their way.Niazi,Talha and Hashim were terrific in defence and contributed in attack too.The keeper also managed to pull off some special saves.Well played opposition (y)

Difc 4-5 Thudda United FC
The boys of difc went against one of the best sides in twin city featuring Umeros,Jady,Zain7,Sabur,Mustafa and co.

The line up saw arsalan bhai start in goal.Arslan and Waleed Niazi in defence,Shayan in the cdm role while Moneeb,Daniyal and Mohammed started up ahead.Hashim,Kami jee and M.Ahmed on the bench.

Thudda scored early on with a good goal.Daniyal then equalised with a long-range shot.Then it developed into a topsy-turvy affair as Daniyal and Shayan's goals were cancelled out by the opposition.Then on some poor defending,they managed to take the lead and then further increased it with a goal on the counter-attack.The boys then laid siege to their goal as we hit the post twice and their keeper pulled off two fantastic saves to preserve their lead but right at the very end,Daniyal scored again to give the score-line a much deserving look.

Everyone played their hearts out against a very tough side.The keeper couldn't do much about their goals but otherwise was assured.Arslan,Waleed and later M.Ahmed in the defence put their bodies on the line to stop the star-studded attack of Thudda.Shayan,Moneeb,Mohammed and Daniyal worked their socks off in the midfield and were efficient in attack too.

Match-1
Difc 1-1 Soan fc (Won 4-3 on penalties)
Went against one of the best sides in Pindi with a depleted squad.Kaami jee was in goal.The make-shift defence consisted of Ahtisham,Sharjeel and Hashim.Shayan taking the Defensive mid role with Daniyal and Moneeb further forward.After a cagey opening,both teams had a flurry of chances with each team being denied by the post.We finally broke the deadlock as Ahtisham diverted the ball in from a cross by Shayan.We looked all set to complete the upset but conceded a goal in the last 5 minutes.The match went on to penalties and Shayan saved two of their penalties with Daniyal,Moneeb,Sharjeel and Ahtisham scoring to seal a memorable win.

Match-2(quarter-final)
Difc 4-4 GFC(Lost 3-2 on penalties)
The second match took place after a break of 90 minutes as we went in with almost the same line-up.Got a goal in the opening minutes as Daniyal opened the scoring.The opponents equalised at the end of the 1st half.We immediately retook the lead and increased it as Daniyal getting the goals.3-1.After a brief fightback,It looked like we had put the game to bed as Daniyal scored on the counter to make it 4-2 with 5 minutes remaining.The boys then lost concentration and conceded stupid goals right at the end to make it 4-4 and hence the shoot-out was needed.This time though,we couldn't pull it off and bowed out of the tournament in heart-breaking fashion.

Extremely well played everyone.We gave it all :) We even managed to scoop up the 'Team of the tournament' award which speaks volumes about the level of performance

A tough match to kick-off the tournament but braces from Didu and Daniyal resulted in an easy win.

Match-2
Difc 3-2 Bubblegummers
Took a commanding 3-0 inside the opening 10 minutes but then let the opposition back into the match by conceding 2 quickfire goals but ultimately held on to secure a quarter-final berth,Goals from Shayan,Daniyal and Moneeb helping the cause

Difc 3-1 Stunners Fc(quarter-final)
A clinical performance by the boys as we took control only to almost relinquish the lead but managed to hold on to the lead as Daniyal again scored a brace

Match-4(Semi-final)
Difc 2-2 Pakhtoon(won 3-1 on penalties)
Again the boys began brightly and took the lead through moneeb but some questionable refereeing lead to our opponents equalizing from a penalty.Daniyal scored but credit to Pakhtoon boys who again pegged us back to drag the match to penalties and eventually we triumphed.

Match-5(Final)
Difc 0-5 X-men Fc(Roots United)
The thrilling nature of the final does not reflect the scoreline as an even first-half finished 1-0. Due to unavailability of some players, we lacked subs, and even one on-field player, so we were forced to recruit one.
The boys did their best in the second half but found their keeper a rock in their goal and once the opposition started scoring on the counters,they weren't to be stopped.

A terrific attempt by the boys but we fell at the last hurdle. Buck up. IA glory will come :)

Difc 2-2 Spurs fc (1-3 on penalties)

The boys began with Arslan in goal,while hashim and Daniyal took hold of the defence.Moneeb started in the Holding role.Shayan,Didu and Zayn lined up in attack.Musa,Wajeeh,Sharjeel formed the bench.

The boys began brightly and soon struck the first blow.Didu finishing clinically on Zayn's excellent assist.The spurs boys then upped the tempo and turned the game around after some lackluster defending to take the lead.2-1.The opposition defence stood tall against our offence but soon we equalized courtesy of daniyal's sublime finish from the edge of the D.

Neither side could find the decisive goal as it finished deservedly at 2-2. Arslan was super in goal and made some eye-catching saves.Hashim,sharjeel,Wajee and musa were solid in defense and made some crucial blocks.Daniyal,Moneeb and Shayan performed their roles superbly and made some good runs forward.Zayn,Didu and Hadi threatened on every attack and were terrific in attack. Well played opposition (y).
