Wood hunting, one of the most important parts of the process when I’m building a table.
It’s with this wood that I find in these journeys to the North of Portugal that I’m able to create part of my design, because the other part is the wood itself that decides. So you really never know what you might find and experience while up there.

5th of October, 2021, exactly one year ago today, on the public holiday celebrating the Implementation of the Portuguese Republic I was working with some French Oak (Quercus Robur) and the wood kicked back from the table saw and crack, twisted and shattered my left pinky finger.

After a 3 month recovery, mostly in a cast, with no work, a lot of boredom and thinking time, I was finally back to my craft, my passion and my creations.

Então, to celebrate the (almost) full recovery and 1 year anniversary I have decided to design and release a limited edition of 30 T-Shirts with my X-Ray image and some extra details.
