Why so expensive?

Customer:
- How much will it cost to complete this work? Master:
- $1500
Customer:
- Why so expensive?
Master:
- How much do you think this work will cost if you do it yourself?
Customer:
- Well, maximum $800. After all, from the outside it doesn’t seem like a difficult job.
Master:
- For $800, I suggest you do it yourself.
Customer:
- But i can not!
Master:
- Fine! I will teach you this work for $800 and you will acquire knowledge for the next similar case.
Customer:
- This is an interesting proposal. I agree!
Master:
- So, you need to have with you: a welding machine, an electric saw, a drill, gloves and...
Customer:
- Stop! I don't have all this equipment and I won't buy it just for this job!
Master:
- In that case, to do this work, I can rent you the tools for $300.
Customer:
- Fine!
Master:
- Agreed! I'm waiting for you on Tuesday to do the work.
Customer:
- Hm. I can't on Tuesday!
Master:
- Sorry, but I only have Tuesday free. All other days are busy with other orders.
Customer:
- OK! I'll have to change my plans...
Master:
- I will collect all the necessary material, and you will have to load the car on Tuesday at 6 am. Don't be late please.
Customer:
- At 6 am? No! This is not at all convenient for me. You know, I’ll probably still pay you this $1,500. After all, I myself understand that I still won’t be able to do this work efficiently and I already understand that it will ultimately cost me much more.
