lines! There are two huge red leather sofas which each comfortably seat 6, a large HD TV and home entertainment system. We have also left some of our DVD collection for people to use if they fancy a quiet evening in. There is a dining table that sits 6, black out shutters and air conditioning, and a log burner for the colder (very rare) nights. The kitchen includes electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric hob, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and all necessary plates and cutlery to allow you to comfortable cater for 6-8 people. The two double bedrooms have queen sized beds, built in wardrobes, heating and cooling (AC) units, black out electric shutters and bedside tables. The main bedroom also enjoys the luxury of an en suite bathroom with shower, toilet, sink with built in vanity unit and bidet. There is a third twin bedroom featuring 2 single beds and the same wardrobe, shutters and heating and cooling facilities. The separate bathroom has all of the facilities of the en suite but also features a bath. There is a large balcony leading out from the kitchen with access also from the living room. This is a perfect area to eat dinner with friends and family. There is also a roof terrace where we have placed 6 sun loungers and enjoys sea and mountain views. For the practicalities there is a central vacuum system installed in the apartment which makes keeping the floors clean on long stays simple (unless you want us to arrange regular cleaning), washing machine as mentioned and iron and ironing board. This is an absolutely wonderful place to either relax and enjoy some peace or to use as a base to enjoy all of the surroundings of this beautiful part of the world.

Whether you stay in the Tavira region or venture out slightly further across the Algarve you are certain to find something enjoyable to occupy your time. Locally there are things to cater for interests as diverse as playing Golf to visiting ruins and historic buildings, horse riding to deep sea fishing. The town centre of Tavira itself is fully of little restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Apart from the odd rare new development, the buildings in the centre are very old and possess a beautifully rustic charm. There are over 30 churches in Tavira as well as the fairly well preserved ruins of a Medieval, so anyone interested in architecture will have plenty to feast their eyes on. Boat rides from the town centre regularly leave for the beautiful Ihla de Tavira beach. The beach offers many places to eat and drink as well as all of the other amenities that you would expect from a beach in the Algarve. Staff in the restaurants and bars are usually multi-lingual and extremely genuine and welcoming. Tavira has something to offer everybody so if this is a family holiday you are sure to be able to plan activities which cater for all.
