The Charles Armchair brings together carefully worked oak and precise upholstery. Artisans shape and finish the wooden side structures, then carefully fit the fabric around the upholstered volumes.

Every fit, finish and detail carries the knowledge of skilled hands.

A sculptural curve, shaped stitch by stitch.

The rounded upholstered elements of the Embrace Armchair are carefully sewn by hand. Each stitch helps the Terracotta Opio fabric by Pierre Frey follow the form, bringing definition to its curves and continuity to its surface.

Behind the softness, skilled hands give the design its character.

Sculptural design begins with the smallest details.

A closer look at the Marshmallow Floor Lamp reveals the fixings behind its slender silhouette. Every connection plays a part in bringing the brushed-brass structure together, balanced on a base of honed Portuguese white Estremoz marble.

Precision you can see. Craftsmanship you can feel.

Working the oak. Carving and polishing the marble. Following each curve with upholstery. Finishing the brass and a perfect lacquer with precision.

The Art of Matter brought this knowledge to Paris, through five pieces shaped from exceptional raw materials.

The Art of Matter. A remarkable reception in Paris.

On 8 and 9 October, we presented five sculptural pieces at Les Rendez-vous de la Matière by FORMÆ.

The response was overwhelming, with great interest in the designs, the exceptional materials and the hands behind every detail.
