No shortcuts. No pinned-on mouldings.

Stop sticking mouldings to walls. Start building properly.

Our wall panels are fully crafted, painted, and finished in the workshop, then clipped straight into place on site. Zero shortcuts. Zero mess.
At Markou Design, we build proper architecture. Every panel is fully constructed, spray-finished, and perfected right here on the workshop bench before it ever goes out the door. It arrives ready to clip straight into place—clean, seamless, and built to last.

When custom joinery meets secret architecture... 🤫✨

We handcrafted this stunning, wall-to-wall custom bookcase for a home in Hackney, beautifully separating the dining area from the living room. The centrepiece? A seamless, secret sliding door hidden right behind the bookcase that opens up to reveal the flow of the space.

Designed by Mia and crafted with a sleek, modern oak finish, every piece is entirely made by hand to maximize both function and aesthetic.

What do you think of this hidden door feature? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Do you own an item that instantly brings back a flood of memories? 🔺

For me, it’s this wooden pyramid that came to me recently.
We used to craft these around Christmas time for our closest clients, and holding it back in my hands after all these years is a quiet reminder of where it all started.

Every grain tells a story, but it’s the memories and connections behind the work that make it truly timeless‼️
