Today this neck finally got glued to it's buddy!
Lots of bearclaw in the spruce top. It'll be exciting to put strings on this one!

Slapping together a sprue top in between tasks!
I've overlooked this top a couple of times because of the sap pocket, but I felt a bit sorry for it, so i decided to give it a try and found it will work great with one of my smaller models!

Been routing for a couple of rosettes consisting of black/white/black purfling which I've pre-laminated with epoxy.
To be able to fit the purfling into the slot i need to bend it, so i soak the purfling strips in a bucket of water, and then bend them around something round with the same diameter as the rosette, and leave them to dry.
Inlaying them after that is a walk in the park ☺️
