Esri Singapore was honoured to join International Maritime Geospatial Forum 2026, organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Empowering future civil engineers with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) 🚧🌏
Over three mornings, we partnered with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) to deliver a GIS Awareness Workshop for Year 1 Diploma in Civil Engineering students for their Geomatics module .

Across three interactive morning sessions, students explored how geospatial technology is shaping real-world outcomes in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

Here's what they discovered:
🔹How GIS fits into civil engineering and infrastructure planning
🔹Hands-on experience with GIS tools and modern data collection workflows
🔹How automated analysis in ArcGIS can help visualise and assess construction possibilities before breaking ground

It was inspiring to see such curiosity and enthusiasm from the next generation of engineers 👏
