Danish by origin. North American by experience.
After more than 20 years living and working in the US, Henrik Svendsen knows the North American furniture market inside out — from retail expectations to product trends and customisation needs.
And yet, at his core, he’s still 100% Danish — with the mindset, structure and design intuition to match.
We’re proud to welcome Henrik as our new sales agent in North America – bringing over 25 years of industry experience and trusted connections with top home fashion retailers across the US and Canada.
Having worked with both European - and China-based manufacturers, Henrik knows exactly what it takes.
Smart sourcing. Tailored design. Market-ready solutions.
That’s what he brings to the table — and why we’re excited to have him at ours.
Welcome to Sourcebynet, Henrik!

As we celebrate Sourcebynet’s 25th Anniversary, we reflect on what has made this journey special—our people, customers, and vision. Since day one, we have been committed to delivering quality furniture with seamless customisations while making a meaningful difference for 25 years.
To mark this milestone, we are proud to partner with WWF-Singapore and SolarBuddy donate 50 solar lights 💡 to children in remote Southeast Asian communities with limited access to electricity.
On 12 February 2025, our Singapore team came together to learn about energy poverty, assemble the solar lights and craft encouraging messages for the children who will receive them.
The workshop illuminated the challenges children and their families face in remote developing communities, the severe health risks and accidents caused by kerosene lamps, and the urgent need to break this cycle, paving the way for a safer future for generations to come.
Some reflections from our colleagues after this insightful Solar Light workshop:
💡 "We were stunned to learn that 789 million people live without reliable access to electricity."
🫶 "It felt meaningful to make a difference, even in a small way today."
This initiative was a powerful reminder that our impact extends beyond furniture—we are committed to shaping a brighter, more sustainable future.
Light up the world, make a difference! 🌞💡
