梗面插肩榫翘头案
The tabletop has a solid 35 mm-thick board with everted flanges at both ends. There is beading along with the aprons and legs, and ‘two-incense-stick’ beading down the middle of each leg. On both sides of the inserted shoulder joints on the apron are open-work, upward-curving cloud motifs. The upper part of the recessed legs has a bulging floral silhouette and two horizontal stretchers. The base of the legs is carved with scrolling cloud motifs. 案面梗面，厚达3.5厘米，两端翘头。牙条和腿边缘起灯草线，腿足正中作‘两柱香”线。插肩榫两侧在牙条上鏤挖出卷云图案。腿足上不做出花叶轮廊，并安横枨两根，足端雕出卷云纹。

凳面做成五瓣莲花形，边框立面起双凸经线,‘玉香线’。凳面之下为打洼束腰，其上凸雕梅纹，打洼束腰之下又起凸线一周，五腿皆柱状，腿间上下各接一道罗锅枨，五腿及罗锅枨中部皆起双凸线。此凳做工精美、造型别致，是一件颇具特色的清宫家具。 梅花是中国十大名花之首,与兰花,竹子,菊花一起列为四君子,与松,竹并称为“岁寒三友”。在中国传统文化中,梅以它的高洁、坚强、谦虚的品格,给人以立志奋发的激励。在严寒中,梅开百花之先,独天下而春。 此凳以梅花做样式,从上看,造型为一朵五瓣梅花。凳面攒框作平罐,面框,冰梅纹束腰,牙子,罗锅枨,腿枨与面框一致相映,从侧面欣赏,凹凸有序,层次分明。原物为紫檀木,在椅盘,牙子,罗锅枨跟五腿部正中起槽,嵌竹片,竹片作玉香线。 *此凳归为藏馆壹级国家文物

This lobed drum stool has a flush floating panel tongue-and-grooved into the five-part scarf-jointed frame. The twenty separate uprights are mortise-and-tenoned into the frame and curved downwards to a similarly constructed frame to the lower part with (five) bracket feet pegged to the bottom.

凤穿牡丹纹
凤穿牡丹纹是古代吉祥图案，亦称“凤喜牡丹”或“牡丹引凤”。古代传说，凤为鸟中之王，牡丹为花中之王，寓意富贵。丹、凤结合，象征着美好、光明、幸福和华贵。
古代官皮箱是做什么用的?箱内大有乾坤! 古典家具中有这么一款小型家具官皮箱,它是主人的“百宝箱”。外在看不出什么奇特之处,待到打开,便如苏轼词中所言,“博观而约取,厚积而薄发”,内里大有乾坤。 “一念收敛,则万善来同。”官皮箱代表的是中国人收敛的艺术,在含蓄和深沉中,表达出精致的态度。官皮箱,从宋代镜箱演化而来的一种体量较小制作较精美的小型庋具。从名称上看像是为官府文书及印章收纳箱,实际上,官皮箱并非官用,亦不是皮制,乃是指一种体型稍大的梳妆箱。一般由箱体、箱盖和箱座组成,箱体前有两扇门,内设抽屉若干,箱盖和箱体有扣合,门前有面叶拍子,两侧安提手,上有空盖。

上折杌，杌面及杌足之下是四根方形材，杌足是用四根圆材，但在两足交叉点穿铆轴钉的部位，杌足断面是方形，以增加强度。
交杌的踏床两端留出圆轴，插入杌足端部的卯眼，使踏床成为一个可以拆卸的附件。踏床面上常装饰着漂亮纹饰的铜件，打古铜钉，用意在于防止踏床面容易磨损，也有很好的防滑功能。
上折式交杌的杌面是往上折叠的，杌面分为两段，运用中间的活动式横档，两端留出圆轴插入面框的两端，使得杌面得以折叠。当把交杌放平时，杌面中间横档直棂下的横档会自然地滑至两足的交叉点，使得杌面得以承重。
胡床一般流行于宫廷和贵族之间，是战争和狩猎时使用的家具。因此便有了“踞胡床，垂足而坐”的说法。这说明当时在社会上层，胡床的出现已经开始影响人们的起居方式，少数人开始垂足而坐。

上折式交杌
席地而坐时期包括商周，春秋战国，秦汉。在东汉时期出现了由少数民族传到中原地区的胡床。《后汉书，五行志》:灵帝好胡服，胡帐，胡床，胡座，胡饭，京都贵戚皆竞为之。说明在汉灵帝时期就出现了胡床。胡床也称为交杌，指的是腿足相交的杌凳，俗称“马扎”。
从席地而坐到垂足而坐的转变过程中，交杌一直留存于世并发挥着它的功能。它的形制一直没有太大改变，只是局部的装饰构件越来越丰富。
交杌的形制有四种，小交杌，无踏床交杌，有踏床交杌，跟上折式交杌。

摩登花石面方枱
酸枝木制，桌面为异形，镶正方大理石面。括弧线框面下周匝镶雕摩登花纹牙子。四腿上部做车木，下段三弯，下层类似霸王枨中间安西式车木纹饰，形成装饰别致的腿枨，西洋式风味十足。
摩登花是民国家具雕刻的图纹，纹饰是中国传统家具没有的图案，所以称为摩登花（时尚图案）。此图纹其实是西方当时流行的图纹，就比如括弧线，它是欧洲建筑艺术的一部分。由于广州当时经济繁荣，吸收了大量外来文化而形成的一种纹饰。

Incense stands are one of the most artistic expressions of Chinese furniture. Such a stand not only supported the incense burner but was also used to display flower arrangements, fantastic rocks, and bonsai plants, and art & crafts. The flush, rounded top panel is enclosed within the ice-plate edge molding frame. The high waist is decorated with firecracker-shaped openings with raised beading. The subtlety of this stand lies in its use of lines.
