At Taman Jurong Community Club, The Caterpillar Library is an unmanned bookshelf where people can take a book, leave a book, and share their pre-loved reads with others.

In this episode of Can I Join You?, we meet Chester, who started the library after his son asked, “But Papa, isn’t a library for everyone?”

We find out what kinds of books can be donated, how the shelves are looked after, and how small acts from different people have helped this library continue over the years. Sometimes, all it takes is a shelf and a book left behind for the next person.
