One thing we always use for flip up doors are HK TOP hardware ( ) because they have better adjustments and are more straightforward to install. Plus, they have open angle stops which are great, and of course soft close!
WL & G chose to go with marine plywood for their kitchen and Sapele plywood for their wardrobe, bed frame (w drawers!) and display shelves.

U-shaped kitchens are tougher than it looks. But glad we managed to execute the design plan.
Concealed bedroom door beside a coffee nook, really pulls the look together.
External finishes are Birch plywood in ice brown hardwax oil.

H & J had the idea of wanting their bed to face the views, yet not forgoing storage needs as well.
A storage bay window to rest at, and a vanity area with. chest of drawers at the head of the bed.
Above the drawers are flip up (box) doors to house taller items such as hair dryers, we even managed to put in a mirror!
They didn’t want to block off all the natural light that would come through with a panel on top, so we made grids of square shaped holes which matches the handles of the drawers.
Soft warm tones of the beautiful Sapele. Never fails to make it feel like home

A kitchen with display shelf unit and pantry.
R wanted his robot vacuum to have a permanent home (out of sight and accessible) and we found the perfect space for it!
