Hometech Space Concepts

Hometech had its humble beginnings in 1985 as a carpentry business with the bare hands of our directors- Mr. Yap Chong Kong & Mr. Yap Chong Fei.

At the age of 18, Mr. Yap Chong Kong came to Singapore and worked as an apprentice for a furniture company near Changi Airport. Following the demise of his boss who died in a car accident, he took over the business in partnership with his brother, Mr. Yap Chong Fei. With his skill and experience, he soon expanded the business with wide accumulation of contacts.

Over the years, Mr. Yap has rebranded his furniture company and renamed it as Hometech Space Concepts targeting mid to high end clientele. The two brothers have constantly pushed themselves beyond means, strive to upgrade design renovation programs to meet multi-customers’ requirements to achieve warm and cosy homes for all homeowners. Furthermore, the company has achieved accreditations by ISO 9001 and Casetrust-RCMA in the recent years, which give our customers a peace of mind, knowing that their homes are in good hands.

With over 40 years of experience, the two brothers are keen to pass on their knowledge and give opportunities to youngsters- whoever that is passionate about interior design and needs a platform to shine.
