Thai and Myanmar coffee beans blend, dark roasted. Caramel, chocolate a bit herbal especially when cool. Not bad, but should be better with latte.

Papua New Guinea coffee just came in, taste of chocolate cookies, toasted almonds, not too heavy, a tad of Plum acidity. Easy to drink.

Discover this small cafe hidden under a bridge purely by accident. I was lead to it by smell of roasting coffee in the air ( coffee roaster is always sensitive to that smell of in between baking bread and chestnut roasting, hard to describe ). I was curious to check out but no intent of having more caffeine as I already had 2 long blacks that morning. The lady owner handed me a sampler coffee of the day, and I was sold. This was a Kenya that has been roasted darker than I would usually do (most roasters as well). It tasted incredibly good, sweet at the start, fruity in the middle and ends with a lingering nuttiness. Simply gorgeous.
That's the beauty of coffee roasting, there's so much to learn, always new things to try and we should never be afraid to do so. You hit the right notes, you find new wonderland. You simply never know.

My 3rd coffee of that morning, no regrets 😋.
