NEW ARRIVALS: Two Antique Shanxi Roundback Armchairs.

These antique round-back armchairs from the villages of Shanxi were made for common folks - there are no fine carvings and no precious hardwoods. Crafted from affordable native willow, the legs and armrests were bent into shape after heating or soaking, mimicking the lightweight feel of bamboo.

What makes them special are the iron details added over time to reinforce the structure as the joints came loose, proof that someone kept coming back to sit in them, again and again.

Primitive, simple, and incredibly comfortable. Come try them out and explore our other new arrivals.

An antique medicine cabinet with a beautiful original dark finish and patina. Each drawer is divided into four compartments, with the names of the herbs stored within written on the front - a simple, practical system that has kept its order through the years. Dimensions: W86 x D45 x H114cm.

In the background is a set of tall door panels from Chaozhou, in their original wood finish. The textured pots around the cabinet are also from our latest shipment.

This striking antique Shanxi sideboard (196cm in length) has beautiful original patina and iron hardware, with wood that is weathered and full of character. The storage configuration has been thoughtfully modified for easier access, without taking away from its original charm.

Also newly arrived is a collection of old wine pots, some converted into table lamps. Above the sideboard is a painting by Mr Tung Yue Nang, depicting the bustling street scenes of Smith Street, Chinatown.

Our new shipment has arrived, and among them is a stunning antique two-drawer table with relief carvings from Zhejiang province. It is just one of many unique tables in this collection - ranging from carved pieces to simpler, longer consoles.

Besides our larger furniture, we’ve also received a beautiful selection of decorative accessories: vintage baskets, stone lions, famille rose, chests and boxes. You’ll also find table lamps repurposed from vintage pots and carvings.

Distressed Shandong Sideboard.

A 2-door sideboard from Shandong, this piece is compact in length but taller than standard table height, therefore offering more storage. Dimensions: L139 x D41 x H101cm.

The matte black finish has worn away in places, revealing the wood beneath. The raised door frames have beadings. It is the subtle details that, taken together, give this piece a lot of character.

Ming-Style Round Corner Cabinet.

This antique cabinet has a protruding top, round legs, and clean lines throughout. Ming-style furniture, whose form developed centuries ago, remains just as beautiful today.

Antique cabinets like this, in a size suitable for most spaces, are not easy to find.

Dimensions: W86 x D41 x H103cm.

The table lamp on top has a very dark blue glaze and was converted from a vintage ceramic pot.

Two Vintage Zhejiang Bedroom Cabinets.

Two vintage bedroom cabinets from Zhejiang, one wider than the other, yet both sizes and configurations were commonly found in old Zhejiang homes. Together they make for an interesting and versatile combination of storage, with ample table top space for display.

Both cabinets share the same quiet attention to detail, featuring raised panels on the drawers and doors, pivot door hinges, and original brass hardware.

Antique Shanxi Doors & Lamphanger Chair.

A pair of handsome antique doors from Shanxi, black and understated. The hardware is all original and well-preserved. The door knockers feature a round domed backplate with a simple iron ring pull, beautifully aged over time. A notable detail is the strike plate just below the ring; it has a beautiful, layered multi-point star shape in a faded red finish, adding a subtle pop of colour against the dark wood. At the bottom, iron banding with round nail heads provides a quiet, grounding presence.

In front of the doors is an antique lamphanger chair with slender round posts and clean lines, and a carved apron that adds a decorative touch. The top corners of the chair are reinforced with iron plates from a past repair, adding a personal touch to the piece.

Vintage Zhejiang Small Table.

A vintage small table from Zhejiang with relief carvings of phoenixes on the two drawers. Below the drawers, three fixed panels conceal hidden compartments.

The original brass drawer handles are bat-shaped - a symbol of good fortune. At the base, the subtle scroll design on the hoof feet echoes the carving on the apron, tying the piece together beautifully.

Dimensions: L97 x D36 x H85cm.

To the left is a vintage ceramic jar used for storing tea leaves or rice, approximately 70 to 80 years old, it’s decorated with a lion motif and doubles up as a drum stool.
