We built this traditional-Japanese-Tansu-cabinet-inspired custom whiskey display/storage with bartender Kazuhiro Chii from The Bar KAKURE

Authentic sliding doors joinery, sustainable SG Angsana wood for the solid strips & cladding. He ordered the hardware in from Japan.

We had a chance to see him work - it was an experience to see truly amazing traditional, innovative & uniquely Japanese techniques in the craft of bartending & whiskey preparation.

And…there’s an astonishing collection of rare & unique whisky stored in there!
