A final look at The Eames Houses.

We’re still thinking about this mid-dinner scene in the Muuto apartment. It wasn’t about a perfect, untouched table; it was about the beautiful "in-between"—the scattered ingredients and half-finished drinks that show what it actually looks like to care for your favourite people. There’s something so honest about leaving things as they are, honouring the time and effort that goes into hosting family and friends.
The room really came together around the Midst Table, which felt so grounded and inviting in honed marble. Its round, generous shape paired perfectly with the Rime Chandelier hanging above, which looked more like a piece of floating architecture than a standard light. Together, they created this soft, refined atmosphere that reminded us why we love design in the first place: it’s the backdrop for the moments that matter most.
You know that feeling when you walk into a room and something just settles? Nine times out of ten, it’s the lighting.
We’ve been thinking about this a lot lately — especially after Milan, where so many of the spaces that stayed with us weren’t the loudest or the most elaborate. They were the ones that felt considered. The kind of rooms where the light seemed to know exactly what it was doing. As we delve further into the topic of Neuroaesthetics, our brains are wired to respond to the sensory qualities of a space with Lighting being one of the most immediate.
Why is it that we feel warmth when an orange glow surrounds the space, and more focused in an environment with white lighting? It’s something we find ourselves noticing more and more. And once you do, it’s hard to look at a space the same way again. Follow us on this journey as we touch on spaces that marries beauty and emotions together.
