Today, PM Lee Hsien Loong announced that he relinquish his role as Prime Minister on 15 May 2024, and handing the rein of leadership over to DPM Lawrence Wong.
As we reflect on the leadership of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, we celebrate the strides Singapore has made under his stewardship. PM Lee has not only preserved the legacy of his predecessors but has also magnified Singapore’s presence on the global stage. His leadership has enhanced our international reputation, making Singapore a coveted partner and mediator worldwide, cementing our status as a global hub.
Prime Minister Lee’s tenure has been marked by his commitment to social unity, particularly during times of fragmented interests and through challenging periods which included economic downturns, pandemics or societal tensions. He has championed policies that ensure all Singaporeans, regardless of socio-economic status, have the opportunity to thrive. Today, we have broadened social safety nets and I was privileged to have played a role when PM announced enhancements to our Progressive Wages policy for National Rally 2021, to uplift our lower-wage workers and bridge income inequality.
More importantly, PM Lee has maintained a stable political environment crucial for our nation’s progress, emphasising accountability and integrity within our leadership.
As we welcome a new era under Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, we remain grateful for PM Lee’s enduring contributions. I am privileged to support DPM Wong both in Cabinet and in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC as we continue to build on this solid foundation, aiming for a prosperous future for Singapore.

It was a half day outing to Pulau Ubin with a bus load of residents early this morning.
We started our adventure with a cheery bumboat ride from Changi Point Ferry Terminal to Ubin island. Following, a 2 hours tour by NParks Guides, who shared with us the wonderful natural and cultural heritage of the island.
Ending the tour at Teck Seng’s Place – a restored Chinese kampung house before heading back to the mainland for lunch at Changi Village Hawker Centre.
This special edition Funwalker outing brought back pieces of heart warming memories of the past kampung lifestyles for some and for the younger ones, slices of history and culture of Pulau Ubin

KHCC WEC wishes everyone a Happy New Year💕!
2022 was indeed a year full of challenges. Here's sharing with all, on what we as a team did during the final leg of 2022.
We are indeed blessed to have strong supports from friends and families who came in together to help us achieve our year end mission - spreading Xmas and New Year Vibes to Homes and Shelter in CCKGRC. Even when these homes and Shelter are no longer under Keat Hong Constituency, we still keep our relationship strong as bonds gets stronger over the years.
In 2022, we are blessed yet again to have the opportunity to gift MWS Bethany Home, SASCO Evergreen Home @ HongSan, SunBeam Children's Shelter, St Luke's Eldercare @ Keat Hong and SunDac (CCK) with X'mas gifts in forms of daily necessities and packed lunch. This is made possible with the support of our friends and families who chipped in to raised funds together for this caused.
Looking at all the smiling faces of the beneficiaries brings joy to each and everyone of us despite the challenges we went thru.
That said, team Keat Hong WEC hope to get the continuous support from all our volunteers, supporters, friends and families for many more years to come. We hope that 2023 will be a much better year for all and that each and everyone of us are blessed with good health always.
Stay tune for our CNY celebrations for the Homes.
Life is so much more meaningful when WE CARE (WECare)for one another❤️.
