A few product snapshots from last week’s visits with our Nordic customers.
Seeing furniture in person gives more context to its scale, materials and finish - and opens up more specific conversations about what could suit a buyer’s project.
These photos share another view of the trip, with the furniture itself in focus.

𝐀 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

These photos capture moments from FIKA’s visit to view furniture samples at a factory in Ho Chi Minh City.

Seeing a physical sample provides an opportunity to discuss how the design translates into a finished product - from overall proportions and materials to construction details and surface finishing.

Depending on the project, points requiring clarification can be recorded and discussed with the supplier before the next development step.

For buyers, the key is to keep feedback specific and linked to the product brief, so everyone understands what needs to be confirmed or revised.

𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?

These photos from our factory activity in Quy Nhon show furniture cartons packed at the factory.

At this stage, visible checks may cover carton condition, sealing and shipping marks. Details inside - such as surface protection, hardware and component placement - need to be checked and documented during packing or through an agreed inspection process.

For buyers, the key takeaway is to define packaging requirements early and make sure the inspection scope covers both the product and its packaging.

Packed cartons are one part of shipment preparation. Inspection status and any outstanding requirements still need to be confirmed before shipment.
