Choose Yours in the size, softness & upholstery of Your Choice. Where you can even customize the seat or back height of Your Cozy Armchair to the height that is comfortable for you.

The definition of Comfort varies from one person to another, where someone can choose firm and find their armchair to be comfortable and another person can find their comfort in soft armchairs. But, comfort does not always pertain to only the softness of the cushion used in your armchair. The type of material of your fabric also plays a big role.

Where some fabric types like Velvet & Chenille are soft to touch. Other fabric types like Textured or Print fabric type are not as soft to touch but, are more durable to wear and tear or fraying. These durable fabric types should be chosen for high traffic areas such as hotel rooms, rental apartments or lobby areas. Whereas Velvet & Chenille are perfect for homes as it can be maintained very easily.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘁.

The Mid-Century inspired Ethan Sofa design can arrive in many shapes such as 2-seater, 3-seater, L-Shaped Sectional or a double chaise Sectional. But, in this Phuket Villa it arrived as a Corner Chaise Sectional sofa.

If you have a big space in your living space and if you love having friends over for dinner or parties, this is the perfect sofa for you. The Ethan Corner Chaise Sectional seats 5 people comfortably and keeps the conversation flowing.

This sofa is made up of two modules - The Ethan 2-Seater module and a 3-seater module. But, your Ethan Corner Chaise Sectional does not need to be same size as it is in this home. Your Ethan can be personalized to the size, shape & orientation that you want. Because, only at Ayra Designs can you feel the true Freedom of Real Customization. Where you are in control of how big you want your seating space to be, how high you want your armrests to be or you can even adjust the height of the backrest as well as the back pillows.

You already know that at Ayra Designs, you can also choose the color of the teakwood base of Your Ethan Chaise Sectional. For this home the client chose it to be natural teak. But, you can choose yours in Walnut or Maple wood color as well. Like I said at Ayra, you can personalize any sofa design you like and take it home the way you want it designed down to the tiniest detail.

Your Ayra, Your Way.

𝗔𝘆𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄

Color Psychology says bringing in Bright Colors into Your home can be used to stimulate how you feel, and how to use it properly by choosing the right colors. We have been talking about how each bright color in the color spectrum associates itself with a certain feeling & emotion. Now, let's talk about how the Golden Yellow color in your home can make you feel.

𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲, "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀! 𝗜𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻."
Such is the color Yellow. A color that radiates positivity, wishful thinking, and optimism. A Color Van Gogh used to express sunlight, warmth & life in his art pieces.

When we told you about the 60-30-10 Interior rule, we discussed how 60% is the dominant color (used in wall, floor, big rugs & curtains), 30% is the Secondary Color (used in big furniture like sofas or beds) & 10% of the home interior color is the Accent color, which should be used for single armchairs, ottomans, pillows or small rugs in your home.

Bringing a Mid-Century inspired armchair like the Ethan in Golden Yellow home, can help improve your overall mood and make you feel more cheerful. Color Psychology says the Color Yellow triggers feelings of hope & positivity. But, a bright color like Golden Yellow should be chosen only as an accent color and maybe used for small furniture pieces like 2-seater sofas or benches. Using it as a Dominant color to this color can easily make you feel overstimulated & restless.

Finding the right balance of color for your furniture is where our Experts at Ayra step in, to guide you by showing you the different color combinations in respect to the existing colors in your home and how You can successfully design Your home with Your favorite personalized Ayra pieces in the colors you like.

Your Ayra, Your Way.

Looks like everyone loves our Ethan Sofa design. We just delivered this 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯-𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀, to a new home in Bangkok that our client just moved into.

When we ask you to visit us, we do it because once you are there you get to talk to our Experts at our boutique and finally get a clear picture of how we design Your sofa at Ayra. You finally get to see, feel and sit on our different sofa designs. You finally understand why we say You can take Your Ayra home the way you want. You finally feel that when You are at Ayra Designs, you do not need to compromise on what you want from Your sofa. You get the size you want, the softness you desire, the upholstery that suits your lifestyle & personalize the dimensions of any design you choose at Ayra.

For this project, our client visited us for one of our most popular designs at Ayra, the Dalton Sectional sofa. But, once they got to our boutique the Ethan sofa caught their eye. It's Mid-Century inspired teakwood base, the comfy seats and wide armrests pulled them in. We started discussing their space & how they would like their Ethan to be.

They wanted to enjoy their Ethan sofa as 3-seater, but they did not want to give up on the L-Shaped sectional feel. After talking to our Experts, they ultimately decided to take two Ethan Ottomans home with their Ethan - to be able to experience it as a make shift Double Chaise Sectional. But, at the same time be able to move the ottomans away from the sofa and use as extra seats for when guests arrive.

Also, another unique custom design choice was made by the client. Their love for coffee led them to ask to place a Cup Holder on the armrest of their Ethan, which we did. Because at Ayra, we always make sure you get Your Ayra, Your Way

Our 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗮 finds itself in a new shape, shaped by the vision our client came to us with. It arrives in this beautiful pool villa in 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘁 with the 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻. The 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 also arrived with its own unique twist, a swivel feature.

You know and love our Ethan sofa. Its Mid-Century flair, teakwood base and comfy seats. But, in this home it just arrived with a new look curated from our client's vision and the way they see their Ethan.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘁:
• The Armrests were lowered in height and widened in width for a more a relaxing feel.
• An extra width was added to the front of the armrest to give it a unique look and feel.
• The Backrest was made thicker than our standard Ethan backrest design.
• Adjustable Headrests were added to each of the seats with Raised headrest Mechanism which lets you enjoy your Ethan in two modes - In a Rested Headrest form & an Upright Raised headrest form, to let you enjoy the your sofa the way you want.

While a custom swivel feature add-on modification was made to the Hamilton Armchair, making the armchair experience more enjoyable - a true 360° experience.

The Freedom to make design Changes and Customizations like these, are why our clients choose Ayra Designs and why you should too. Because we are the only ones in Thailand, who can turn Your Vision into a reality.

𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝘆𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀

Our 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗮 sits with its complementing 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 and the 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 in a home in Bangkok, upholstered in a Green Velvet Fabric.

Studies say that choosing 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 & 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 for Your Living room can make it more welcoming, social & pleasant - that is exactly how this living space was designed. You already know every sofa design at Ayra comes with a complementing armchair design. Both the Hamilton Sectional & the armchair come with a similar round silhouette and spacious seats. For this project the Hamilton sectional was chosen with a bench seat instead of its standard individual seating. But, the smallest addition of a rounded ottoman like the Emmett not only kept a cohesive design across the living space, but also made their life easier with its storage option.

There have been a lot of research and data collected about what color You should surround Yourself with, in Your home and how these colors can be used to stimulate Yourself to stay in the mood & mindset that You want.

Researchers have found that bringing the Color Green into Your home can greatly influence & improve Your mood, because of its association with Nature and help keep you in a calm & refreshed mindset.
