THORN was never designed to exist in a single form.

Drawing from THORN’s horizontal composition, designer Yılmaz Doğan now explores a new vertical configuration through a digital configurator developed by QZENS specifically for THORN.

The same design language is reinterpreted through scale, orientation and composition.

With its range of finishes, materials and modular forms, THORN offers an almost limitless level of customization. Each piece can adapt seamlessly to its surroundings, whether in an intimate interior or a large-scale architectural space. And very soon, this process will extend beyond the design studio.

The THORN Configurator will soon be available to everyone at qzens.com. Different forms, compositions, materials and finishes will be open to exploration, allowing THORN to be shaped around the space it is designed for.

One system. Countless possibilities.



THORN hiçbir zaman tek bir formda var olmak üzere tasarlanmadı.

Tasarımcı Yılmaz Doğan, THORN’un yatay kompozisyonundan yola çıkarak, QZENS tarafından THORN’a özel geliştirilen dijital konfigüratör üzerinden bu kez yeni bir dikey form araştırıyor.

Aynı tasarım dili; ölçek, yönelim ve kompozisyon üzerinden yeniden yorumlanıyor.

THORN; yüzey, malzeme ve modüler form seçenekleriyle neredeyse sınırsız bir kişiselleştirme alanı sunuyor. Böylece her parça, ister daha samimi bir iç mekânda ister büyük ölçekli bir mimari hacimde olsun, bulunduğu çevreye kusursuz biçimde uyum sağlayabiliyor. Ve çok yakında bu süreç yalnızca tasarım stüdyosuyla sınırlı kalmayacak.

THORN Konfigüratör, çok yakında qzens.com üzerinden herkesin kullanımına açılacak. Farklı formlar, kompozisyonlar, malzemeler ve yüzeyler herkes tarafından keşfedilebilecek; THORN, yer alacağı mekâna göre yeniden şekillendirilebilecek.

One design, many expressions.
 
BOSFORO explores the relationship between form, material and color through a distinctive composition of intersecting surfaces.The dramatic veining of dark marble, the warmth of wood, the softness of lacquered finishes and the refined presence of copper create a dialogue between contrasting textures.
 
Different material and color combinations give BOSFORO Coffee Table a new character, while its sculptural identity remains unmistakable.

BOSFORO, birbiriyle kesişen yüzeylerden oluşan özgün kompozisyonuyla form, malzeme ve renk arasındaki ilişkiyi yeniden yorumluyor. Koyu renkli mermerin belirgin damarları, ahşabın sıcaklığı, lake yüzeylerin yumuşak tonları ve bakırın zarif dokusu, zıt malzemeler arasında güçlü bir diyalog kuruyor.
 
Farklı malzeme ve renk kombinasyonları BOSFORO Sehpa’ya yeni bir karakter kazandırırken tasarımın heykelsi kimliği her yorumda kendini koruyor.

A book, a cup of coffee, a few favorite objects. As everyday moments unfold, BOSFORO becomes part of the stories we create around it. Sculptural in form yet made for living, it brings together distinctive materials, thoughtful details and everyday functionality.
 
Because great design is not only about how an object looks, but how it becomes part of our lives.
 
 
Yaşamın ritmi için tasarlandı.
 
Bir kitap, bir fincan kahve, sevdiğimiz birkaç obje. Gündelik anlar birbirini takip ederken BOSFORO, etrafında şekillenen hikâyelerin bir parçasına dönüşüyor. Heykelsi formunu gündelik yaşamla buluşturan tasarım; farklı malzemeleri, incelikle düşünülmüş detayları ve işlevselliği bir araya getiriyor.
 
Çünkü iyi tasarım, yalnızca bir objenin nasıl göründüğüyle değil, hayatımızın nasıl bir parçası olduğuyla da ilgili.

Precision creates its own poetry.

Inspired by the cuts of samurai swords, Tachi’s deep intersecting lines create a layered and balanced composition. The pattern continues toward its inclined metal feet, giving the sideboard a sense of energy and movement from every angle.

Not decoration applied to a surface, but a story carved into the form.

Samuray kılıçlarının kesiklerinden ilham alan Tachi’nin birbiriyle kesişen derin çizgileri, katmanlı ve dengeli bir kompozisyon oluşturur. Bu izler eğimli metal ayaklara doğru devam ederek konsola her açıdan enerji ve hareket kazandırır.

At first glance, a monolithic presence. With a single gesture, a space designed for everyday life.

Behind Tachi’s graphic façade lies a generous storage volume, concealed within a refined architectural form. The interaction between its moving doors, lacquered surfaces and carefully considered interior transforms function into an experience.

Because good design reveals more, the closer you get.

İlk bakışta monolitik bir duruş. Tek bir hareketle, gündelik yaşam için tasarlanmış bir alan.

Tachi’nin grafik cephesinin ardında, rafine ve mimari bir formun içine gizlenen geniş bir depolama hacmi yer alır. Hareketli kapakları, lake yüzeyleri ve özenle kurgulanan iç bölümü arasındaki ilişki, işlevi bir deneyime dönüştürür.

A single movement can change the whole composition.

Named after the swords carried by the samurai, Tachi translates the precision of a blade into contemporary furniture design. Its sculptural façade shifts with each movement, revealing function without interrupting the integrity of its form.

Now, watch precision become motion.

Material changes more than a surface. It changes the entire character of a piece.

In this interpretation of the Jazz Bookcase, the expressive grain of Mazel Root wood meets the collection’s flowing silhouette and warm integrated light. Its organic patterns make every section of the body visually distinct, bringing richness and individuality to the architectural form.

The rhythm remains Jazz. The material gives it a new voice.

Jazz Kitaplık’ın bu yorumunda Mazel Root ağacın etkileyici damarları, tasarımın akıcı silüeti ve gövdeye entegre sıcak ışıkla buluşuyor. Organik desenlerin her yüzeyde farklılaşması, mimari forma zenginlik ve kendine özgü bir karakter kazandırıyor.

A bookcase comes alive through what it holds.

Inspired by the movement, rhythm and creative energy of the Jazz Age, the Jazz Bookcase transforms storage into a composition that is never truly static. As objects take their place, its flowing lines, sculptural curves and integrated light begin to reveal a new rhythm.

Designed not simply to contain, but to give every object a place within the story.
 
Bir kitaplık, taşıdığı parçalarla hayat bulur.
Caz Çağı’nın hareketinden, ritminden ve yaratıcı enerjisinden ilham alan Jazz Kitaplık, depolama işlevini hiçbir zaman sabit kalmayan bir kompozisyona dönüştürüyor. Objeler yerini aldıkça akıcı çizgileri, heykelsi kıvrımları ve gövdesine entegre ışığı yeni bir ritim ortaya çıkarıyor.

Yalnızca muhafaza etmek için değil, her objeye hikâyenin içinde bir yer açmak için tasarlandı.

Design can carry memory without belonging to the past.

Inspired by the atmosphere of ancient Babylon, the Babylon Coffee Table translates architectural references into a contemporary composition of form, material and detail. Its layered geometry recalls monumental terraces, while refined accents bring depth to its sculptural presence.

At QZENS, every piece begins with this dialogue: between heritage and the present, function and expression, material and space.
 
Tasarım, geçmişe ait olmadan da hafıza taşıyabilir.

Antik Babil’in büyüleyici atmosferinden ilham alan Babylon Sehpa; mimari referansları form, malzeme ve detaylardan oluşan çağdaş bir kompozisyona dönüştürüyor. Katmanlı geometrisi anıtsal terasları çağrıştırırken, incelikli detayları heykelsi duruşuna derinlik katıyor.

QZENS’te her tasarım; geçmiş ile bugün, işlev ile ifade, malzeme ile mekân arasındaki bu diyalogla başlıyor.

First, the silhouette.
Then, the material reveals itself.

In its vertical form, Thorn rises through the space like a sculptural structure, branching, reflecting and transforming as light moves across its surface.

From monochrome to copper, the piece shifts from pure form to material presence.
