Salybia Bay, nestled on the North Eastern tip of Trinidad, is a serene beach distinguished from the nearby Saline Bay in the fishing village of Salybia. Accessible via Toco Main Road and a turn onto Galera Road, this beach features a 700m stretch of whitish-grey sand facing the Atlantic. Its eastern end offers sheltered swimming areas with gentle waves, thanks to the surrounding coral of the Salybia reef, where one can explore marine life and beautiful corals at low tide, albeit with caution due to fire coral and changing tides. A haven for family outings, picnics, surfing, and even camping, Salybia Bay is equipped with vital amenities like changing rooms, toilets, and lifeguards. Its worth taking note 📝 that over the last few years, the beach has become less attractive and over run with squatting.
