For this 50-year-old space, Alen used reflective ceilings to bring in beautiful light and mixed old Japanese craft with modern style. A true luxury home should feel as smooth as a supercar and stay comfortable even after five years.
By hiding all the storage and equipment out of sight, we keep life simple and elegant. This smart design didn't just create a perfect private club for the owner— it also won global honors.

利用鏡面天花拉升垂直尺度，

Luxury is lived, not decorated.

I use reflective ceilings to expand scale and liberate the old structure.
I use stone and metal sequences to guide light and refine the space.

By integrating seamless storage and smart climate control, I keep the living area clear and comfortable. Through deconstructing flow and practicing restraint, I ensure materials recede so life can take center stage.

Hôtel Lutetia，1910年誕生於塞納河左岸。
Picasso、Hemingway、Charles de Gaulle 都在這裡留下過痕跡。
Bar Joséphine，以最傳奇的常客命名。

翻修時，設計師 Wilmotte 「讓它繼續是它自己」。

Art Deco 家具重新打樣，彩繪天窗逐一修復，
從門把到水龍頭，無一妥協。

同時屬於過去與現在，
不落入懷舊的俗套，也不急著與歷史切割。

真正頂級的空間，是對時間負責的。

Born on the Left Bank in 1910, Hôtel Lutetia has hosted Picasso, Hemingway, and de Gaulle.
Its bar bears the name of its most legendary regular — Joséphine Baker.

When it came time to restore, designer Wilmotte took the harder road: not reinvention, but continuity. Art Deco furnishings redrawn. Painted skylights revived. Every detail, uncompromised.

A space that belongs to both the past and the present —
neither nostalgic, nor in a hurry to move on.
