We have recently received message from our Indian customer. It seems that there are FAKE 300UB5 tape edge sewing heads in the market. As you can see in the photos, we would like to explain how to distinguish our original (genuine) CT300UB5 and other FAKE 300UB5:

1. First of all, you can compare with pictures of FAKE 300UB5 and Original CT300UB5 and you can see, for the fake one, the C area in fake one is with bevel but in our original CT300UB5, we do not have bevel. Also, the face plates on our original CT300UB5 are BLACK color but the fake one is white. For the A & B on the fake one, they are also different from our original CT300UB5. Moreover, the brand/model plates on the fake one, they are put on different positions of our original CT300UB5. You can see the pictures to tell the differences.

2. For all of our original (genuine) CT300UB5, there are also following ways to distinguish original and fake ones:

 For our original CT300UB5, there will be CTEC in braille on side cover. Please see CT300UB5 Side Cover with CTEC picture for information.
 On most of our parts in original CT300UB5, we have our CT logo with parts number stamped on them. You can also see circled in the pictures of our parts.
 Most importantly, we will have our machine’s serial number stamped on the side of our machines as circled in our picture too. If customers are not sure whether if the sewing heads are original CT300UB5, just let us know the serial number and we can check it. Please see attached “Serial number of CT300UB5” picture as well.

We believe that only the best quality of sewing head (CT300UB5) will be copied by other companies. However, if you are spending money on this, you deserve the best quality of sewing head in every penny you spend. Please see the pictures for the new design of Lifting presser foot with longer and upper front in order to protect the cloth of mattress while taping the edge. It is new and tested smoothly using on our CT300UB5.

The parts number for this new type of Lifting Presser Foot is CT559059ML.

We are also pleased to inform that we have made some improvement of our CT300UB5 Tape Edge Sewing Head:

From our customer’s opinion, we have made some change of our CT300UB5. We have made slightly change on the dimension of our CT559029-M and CT559079 and make the side cover to be open wider for user’s convenience while operation.

For new parts numbers for winder open, we use CT559029-MCT & CT559079-M.

Please note that it is only available for CTEC brand of CT300UB5.

This new type of CT300UB5 will be in our new production line very soon.

We are pleased to inform that we have made new type of folder for wide tape.
It is our CT176DBF type folder for wide tape, double folding.

For the pictures, it is our CT176DBF-60X10X1MM, which is used for 60mm wide of tape, 1mm thickness, DOUBLE FOLDING into 10mm finished size.

It is a special size we made for one of our customers. but the tape and finish sizes can be custom-made for you.
