ONE ROD CAN'T DO EVERY JOB. NEITHER CAN ONE BAIT SHELL.
Anglers use different rods, hooks, floats and rigs because no two fishing situations are ever exactly the same.
Karpela Cont follows the same principle.
The system comes in four sizes — 10, 14, 18 and 22 mm — and two hole types: small round holes and long slots.
So the angler chooses the shell to suit the fish, the rig and the natural ingredients they want to use. Bread, dough, paste, crushed boilies, worms, maggots and many other soft baits can be presented inside a reusable hard shell.
Karpela Cont is not an artificial bait. It is a protected, castable way to present soft natural bait, keeping it safe from small fish, crayfish and turtles.

SEMOLINA THAT STAYS ON.
The softest baits catch the most fish — and stay on the hook the least. Semolina, bread, paste: half your casts come back bare, and bleak pick the hook clean while you wait for the crucian.
Fill a 10 mm Karpela. Small holes hold semolina and paste longer. Long slots release bread and groundbait faster.
The float goes down — and the bait is still there.

A 10 MM KARPELA IS A PEA.
Feeding fish grab anything that fits in their mouth. For big crucian, bream and roach, experienced anglers pick peas. The only problem is cooking them.
Half-cooked peas smell of fresh peas and fish love them — but they split on even the finest hook. Overcooked ones fall off on the cast.
Now it doesn't matter. Half-cook and mince them, or mash them soft. Fill a 10 mm Karpela. It won't fly off, small fry can't strip it, and you stop wondering if it's still there.
