Steven and I (Richard) were bored of the locally made furniture and stuffy non-creative furniture that dominated the Ugandan market. We decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to make our own furniture. Consequently this December 2013 "WTF workshop" was born. We leased a small space in Ntinda, spent all our money on steel and furniture and started making some har
dcore creative furniture with reused metal and wood as our raw materials. Our Mission:
To be honest, we actually have no mission. We are doing this for fun to express our creative minds and if we can make $$ out if it then that is wassup! Any way, the biggest mission when we set up "WTF workshop" was to have our furniture in every household around East Africa at affordable prices. “Think of an I.K.E.A for East Africa”
So "WTF"!! No no no it's not what you think, "WTF" is an acronym for "Wow This Furniture". We want our furniture to wow our customers who will express themselves with that statement hence that's our company name. We create a striking look for your home, garden or commercial design project with unique metal fabrication, wooden and woven art pieces and installations. We are meticulous when it comes to metal fabrication; welding and finishing to create stunning results using Corten steel, copper, stainless steel, and aluminium. At "WTF workshop" we specialize in anything metal, wooden and woven indoor/outdoor furniture, interiors, sculptures and landscape designs. All our metal art fabrication is in-house, so we can build specifically to meet your individual requirements and we now have a simple mini showroom on Ntinda Road, just opposite the Total petrol station, next to Kiwatule/Najeera Taxi stage, so you can see these wonderful creations first hand.
