I had the best time decorating the front entrance Christmas display at Woodstock Antiques Mall! I was fortunate to find sweet vintage toys and pieces by shopping the vendor booths from our store! With the exception of a few trees, I pulled it all together with “holiday stuff” from the attic. The Coca-Cola Santa vignette came together nicely too-

Hello Friend! Soooo, it’s that time again, and I jumped in head long with my Christmas reset. I moved the remaining fall decor into my end cap because I just can’t mix/blend Fall and Christmas decor…God bless you if you can, lol 🤪🤪🤪. Winter florals will be forthcoming! Anyhoo, it took 16+ hours but, as you know, once it’s done, it’s such a huge relief! Bring on the holidays! I’m ready!

This two piece hutch was a simple transformation using watered down chalk paint in Caviar and Black glaze. The distressed finish with wire-front upper doors, bronze-tone hardware, two drawers, and lower cabinet storage are perfect for a modern farmhouse space.

I love finding solid wood frames at Goodwill and giving them a whole new life! This Greek-inspired framed wall décor was created using Iron Orchid Designs products and Chalk Paint. Those dark, moody grays… yes, please!

Wow… I’m so excited! This beautiful piece sold in just one day! ❤️

I’m already working on a few more exciting projects and can’t wait to share the finished transformations with you.

In the meantime… here’s another sweet antique piece I just finished!

This beautiful 1940s Huntley Simmons cabinet was simply too special not to bring back to life. I gave it a rich Heirloom finish with subtle bronze gilding wax on the original hardware, edges, and legs to highlight all of its beautiful details. The original wood interior was left warm and natural, creating a beautiful contrast behind the glass door.

At 65”H × 34”W × 15”D, it’s the perfect size for displaying your favorite dishes, books, collectibles, or seasonal décor while offering hidden storage below. It would look beautiful in an entryway, dining room, living room, or even a cozy office.

I had so much fun with this piece!

After doing a little research, I discovered it’s a Gentleman’s Cabinet from the 1940s. I’ve always loved furniture with doors, so I had a vision for this one. With a fresh finish and a timeless look, I’d say it’s now a Lady’s Cabinet—simple, elegant, and ready for its next home.

At Reenie’s Daughter Furniture Restoration, I love bringing new life to outdated, vintage, and antique furniture. Whether it’s a dining room set, dresser, hutch, or a treasured family heirloom, I’d love to help transform it into something you’ll enjoy for years to come.

If you have a piece that needs rescuing, send me a message on Facebook Messenger or email me at [email protected]. I’d be happy to discuss your vision and the possibilities for your furniture.

As a small, local business here in Cherokee County, your support means everything to me. If you enjoy seeing furniture transformations, I’d be so grateful if you’d like, follow, and share my page with your friends.

This gorgeous Colonial sideboard from the early 1900s has my heart! After much back and forth, I decided to go with the color Proper on this piece, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Featuring its original mirror, wood k***s, and loads of character, this timeless piece has been given new life while preserving everything that makes it special. The mirror is dotted with beautiful age spots, the original hardware is perfect, and the character this piece carries simply can’t be replicated.

With generous storage, sturdy construction, and a classic silhouette, it would make a stunning statement in a dining room, entryway, living space, or kitchen.

Honestly, it was all I could do not to keep this one for myself. I staged her with a few of my favorite IOD smalls, and I do believe she’s a stunner.
