Tranquility and a beautiful sunset...🧡 I started with a decoupage paper and painted the scene in to fit the stand. What a beautiful way to let your mind run free. Bet you wish you were here! 😉

I have spent many hours with this ol' girl over the past month. She's nearly finished and I told my husband that I think we should keep her. He told me, "No, she's for sale!" 🤣 I guess we shall see! Once I tie up what's left to finish, she will be available. If someone doesn't scoop her up fast then he looses! Or, I sell him and keep the dresser! 😆😆 JK!! 🩶🩶

I just wanted to inform my customers that L&L Fleatique will be closed again today. Wednesday and Thursday were high heat days and severe storms last night. Hopefully, we will be back in business on Saturday!! Hope to see you all there this weekend!! Stay safe!! 🩷🩷

L&L Fleatique in Adamsburg will be CLOSED today, Friday, Sept 4th due to the power outages experienced by so many in our area from the storms last night. We will hopefully be able to open tomorrow to regular business hours of 10 to 5.
Hats off to the first responders and lineman from the electric company that have been and will be working tirelessly to restore the areas affected by yesterday's crazy storms that wreaked havoc on hundreds of homes, businesses and roads.

This cute, vintage table sat in the lobby of one of the federal offices that I have worked at for years and years. It was scheduled to be thrown away. It no longer fit their new decor. The manager knew I worked with furniture and asked if I would like to have it. Absolutely I wanted it!! It was such a cute vintage table with such potential...

I scrubbed it down and sanded. Then, I decided to paint it in a creamy yellow and used a ocean scene decoupage paper on the top. I'm working on blending in the paper and painting the rest of the scene in. Sometimes, it just takes me to be in that "right place" mentally but it always comes together just right. I'm ready to get it finished and up to the shop. I will share more pictures after I complete it. 🩵🩵 Makes me feel like dipping my toes in the sand! How bout you?

What a solid, georgeous piece this is! I've been working on this baby a little after work each day. I know its hard to envision it but it will definitely be amazing once its completed. I can't wait to post more pictures of my progress. Im thinking we need to keep the original handles. My Mom picked out the color. She insisted it was the perfect color. Hey,...if Mamma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!! Happy Friday Everyone!! 🩶🩶
