The inspiration from our name comes from my dogs! Bent and Linc combined? But that's not the only reason. When you work as a NICU nurse you pick certain patients to care for over and over. We call them primaries. I have been lucky enough to keep in touch with some of my primaries over the years and it shocks me how quickly they are growing. Similarly, my nephew was born a few years ago and it felt like every time I saw him he had learned a new skill. Walking, talking, running, back-talking. He had learned it all before I even knew what was happening. It may be cliché but life truly does pass by in the blink of an eye. There are so many stages of life that I wish I could look back on. And that is exactly what I want to offer to my clients.

I had the pleasure of welcoming Baby H not once but twice. The first time in the NICU when he was born a little early with unique complications…

For the mom who keeps meaning to book and then life happens again.
The calendar fills up, the kids are busy, and somehow it just never feels like the right time. I get it, truly. But fall light doesn’t wait, and neither does this season of your family’s life.
I may be out on maternity leave but, I’ll be back in early November and would love to get you booked before Christmas card season.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, probably because I’m fresh into newborn life and I keep catching myself wanting to remember everything, exactly as it is right now.
Not the cleaned-up version. Not the ‘we’re all in matching outfits and everyone cooperated’ version. Just... this. The real, actual, somewhat-chaotic version of right now.
That’s what I want to make for you, too.
