🎃🐾 HALLOWEEN IS SCARY ENOUGH… DON’T LET IT TURN INTO A PET EMERGENCY! 👻

Costumes, candy, decorations, and trick-or-treaters make Halloween exciting for us, but they can create serious hazards for our four-legged family members!

Before the festivities begin, remember:

🍫 Keep candy out of reach! Chocolate and products containing xylitol can be dangerous for pets.

🚪 Watch those doors! Frequent trick-or-treat visitors can create opportunities for pets to escape.

👻 Costumes aren’t for everyone! Never force a pet into a costume that restricts movement, breathing, or vision.

🕯️ Be mindful of decorations! Candles, electrical cords, and small decorations can cause injuries.

🐶 Create a quiet space! Doorbells, unfamiliar visitors, and spooky noises can overwhelm anxious pets.

🚨 If you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic or is experiencing an emergency, don’t wait for symptoms to appear. Contact a veterinary professional immediately.

A Canadian slaughter truck is leaving at 3pm today.

12 horses are still on it to go on a 1000+ mile journey to slaughter.
