Giving once loved furniture a second chance

Photos from Redesigned by Beth's post 06/18/2021

I finally got a chance to photograph this one today, life has been too busy! This was a bit of an experiment on a piece that is a combination of solid wood and laminate coating. I wanted to create a faux natural wood finish on the drawers since there was no way to sand the finish. I think it came out nice! I used Crinoline for the base. For the drawers I started with a base color of Soiree and then used a glaze of Smoky Quartz and then Limestone to create the faux wood grain. I replaced the hardware with some textured pulls from to match the coastal theme. Oh and also added some bun feet. Swipe for before 👉🏻.

A perfect little place to primp.

Swipe for before 👉🏻. I bought this vanity to refinish for our bedroom. It needed to be small to fit the space and I wanted to match the French country/modern farmhouse theme in our room. This little vanity was in really bad shape and needed more work than you would imagine. I removed the peeling veneer and this beautiful planked wood was underneath, I had to leave it natural. The mirror glass needed to be replaced so I decided to go with a new one entirely. Painted in Seagull grey by .
