What’s in a resume? A Curriculum Vitae by any other name is a resume with a cover letter. Does this seem like a lot?
Web work for Energizer, Boeing, AT&T, The Washington Post, NASA, Black & Decker, IRS, CareerBuilder, and more. * Web 2.0 * AJAX/JSON * OO JavaScript * OO perl * OO PHP * SQL * CSS * XHTML * XML * FBML/FBJS * Facebook API * Google API * Twitter API Let’s start with my 20+ years of professional Web Development and Design experience, increasingly in architect and leadership roles, ergo the large sk
illset. This has been contracts and consulting — though I’m open to going permanent — ergo the large number of high-profile, name-brand, companies with mission-critical enterprise projects. My skills include design, development, machine learning/AI, social media, e-commerce, and mobile. And, of course, I parley that skillset into making myself a better AI (machine learning) developer. I have been involved in machine learning for almost twenty years, but specifically with AI Agents for several years (building agents, and browser extensions for LLM interact on my own time), and have recently been developing them professionally, using both Python and JavaScript, including libraries like Transformers.js, Scikit-Learn. I have verbal and social skills unusual for a techie, along with tech / team lead experience, mentoring, client soft skills, requirements gathering, proposal writing, RFP and RFI development, technical writing, et cetera. Therefore am also open to managerial opportunities, including hybrid coding/leadership roles. My Technical Skills include all major stacks (LAMP, .NET, MEAN/MERN, and Java), but with a focus on the front-end technologies, including a very deep knowledge of hand-coded/vanilla JavaScript, as well as several of the major frameworks/libraries. While the middleware I use varies from project to project, going from C# on one to PHP or Python on the next (et cetera), I always use JavaScript, CSS, and HTML on the front end, and SQL on the back, so I have complete confidence with those. I also know SPA/MEAN technologies like React, Vue, and Angular, and would be happy to acquire more solid experience with them. I'm not only skilled at leadership, decision-making, and programming, but I’m also quite adept with Graphic Art, having used Photoshop since the 90s, and do graphic design, advanced image compositing, and photo restoration work in my spare time. As for Social Media, I have complete mastery of Wordpress management, theme modification, programming, and plugin creation. I also am highly experienced with page and group creation and management. Among my other web development competencies are mobile-first development, internationalization of websites, e-commerce experience, accessibility (ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508), cross-browser compatibility, and SEO mastery. Oh, and let’s not forget Database Management, AKA the back end of the full stack. I already mentioned SQL, which I’ve mastered even to the point of being able to write complex stored procedures. But I’m also competent doing light DBA work: Setting up a database, creating and managing tables, triggers, indexing, and so on. That's because my REAL skill is learning skills. I am a jack of all trades, a master of several, and am routinely hired to learn a new skill and then show mastery of it, alongside people who had been using it for years. I’m an encyclopedic webster.
