A year ago today....we made our very last sale and closed our doors in a most painful way. Almost 13 years as Kaboodle Home after 15 years as Traders. Michael Knights businesses and active community involvement came to an abrupt end....though the memories and merchandise and experiences he and Shawn and Terrance left the customers with will always have a small spot in many people's hearts and memories.
Many nostalgic thank yous to every and all.

Michael loved the Strut

The first STRUT without Michael Knight or one of his businesses.... Traders Bubbles or Kaboodle Home....

SADLY WE WONT BE THERE SHOWING OFF OUR ARTISTS CREATIONS AND SERVING UP WINE AND FOOD...💔

He and Shawn were on the committee that brainstormed and organised the very first EAV STRUT in 1998 to raise money for the Boys and Girls club...

Shawn and Michael were recognized multiple years as Best Neighborhood Store for Traders....
Terrance and Michael were recognized multiple years for top 10 lists of Best Furniture and Design store

Shawn and Michael fought the city to keep parking meters from being installed in 2010...the city had already installed the posts...but theywon for the neighborhood ....and that's why EAV still has free parking in abundance...💪❤️😎

It's heartbreaking that Michael Knight has left the building...but we know he is with all the Strut-ers in spirit....and we know he is watching over us all and in a better place....🙏🙏🙏

We remember him as the hardest working ...extremely talented stylist and designer ...with ...a big generous heart that cared ....cared for the artists ...cared for the less fortunate....cared about his customers...and cared about his community....

Michael was everything right in this world....and we miss him immensely...in the village ....at home....and in this challenging world....💔🙏❤️

Next Saturday July 26th we will be at the Southern Feedstore in East Atlanta Vilage for a celebration of his life....

We will be having a celebration of Michael Knights life at the end of July....any and everyone are welcome.
We will have an official few hours at the Southern Feedstore ...where michael designed and made the locker vestibules....with pictures and stories and memories....and then have an unofficial hour toast to hin and Kaboodle at the Earl...
His sweet beautiful presence is missed immensely at home...as well I'm sure in the village 💔🙏....

On Saturday May 10th at 1125 am
Michael Knight left us all for the universal heavens above.
He was surrounded by his husband Terrance M. Wahl and 2 of thier best friends.
His beautiful gentle presence is missed immensely by many.

We need some time ....but are planning a celebration of his beautiful life...in the coming couple months.

Thank you to all who loved and supported him and his epic East Atlanta Village shop and legacy.

We are devastated and still in shock....and we send much light love and peace to those suffering from the news of this unfortunate tragedy.

Rest in peace and power Michael Knight ...you are missed....you are loved .....and we will celebrate your kind helpful gentle soul...you were beautifully yourself and one of a kind.
