Sometimes ya just gotta go with the flow. I was estimating a patio and with only two raindrops warning the sky opened up in a tremendous downpour with humongous rain drops. Instead of my usual thought of crud, I'm going to get soaked, my first thought was how majestic and glorious the power of the raindrops were! It was awesome!!

Experts say turn off as many of your outside lights as possible to help the migrating birds navigate tonight and other nights when they are in flight.

Tonight is expected to be a big night for bird migration. BirdCast is predicting 359 MILLION birds in flight tonight. Peak timeframe locally should be about 3 hours after sunset. So, around 11-11:30pm. Birds may be visible on doppler radar.

I am absolutely in love with creating this gorgeous landscape! I love the way the mock orange pittosporum and the kaleidoscope abelia play off of each other. Lavender really calms down the abelias. There are many perennials and roses in here. Climbing white roses and Jasmine will go up the gazebo. There’s too much going in to even mention. I am on cloud nine creating such beauty that was in the dreams of my client and now coming to life with 2 1/2 days of hard work and tilling tough Georgia Clay with beautiful Landscaper’s pro mix dirt

For Mother’s Day how about giving a quick sketch and plant list, with proper soil mixture instructions for installing plants she will love for years! I still have openings left for consultations for Mom’s garden.
