Drop in on Westside Atlanta’s elegantly sharp mixed use high-rise apartments and you’ll bump into one of our favorite Arciform family members: the one-of-a-kind Arciform Reception Desk. Sporting the same texture-rich walnut crosshatched details as its siblings – our Sofa, Bureau, and one-off Conference Table – this piece has quite a presence, holding court in Star’s residential lobby, ready to salute visitors and home-comers alike. From the “user’s” angle, integrated power, a cozy electronics cubby, and copious locking drawers faced in gorgeous walnut veneer make the view lovely from all sides. A durable but sophisticated concrete slab tops it all off, a counterpoint to gracefully light burnished metal legs.

When Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital looked to expand its Midtown campus into a vacant lot along bustling Peachtree Street, the hospital faced the removal of a number of nearly 100-year-old trees to make way for new structures that would expand the organization’s healing footprint in Georgia. To make use of what would ordinarily have been wasted resources, the board wished to reclaim the wood, and asked Skylar to conceive of a plan to use it in construction of various elements inside and outside of the new doctor’s offices and surgery spaces.
